Hi, I'm Mika, owner of Fresh Aura Candles an online shop in Upper Marlboro MD. We are focused on bringing clean burning, affordable, luxury coconut soy candles to the community and beyond. Our scents are warm, fresh, comforting and crafted to compliment your self care practices, whether that's yoga, meditation or snuggled up on the couch.

When we think about buying a candle, we often just pick up a pretty jar, smell and decide. I invite you to rethink that process.

There's more to a candle than the smell, the ingredients are very important as they impact your environment. Whatever is in a candle gets in the air, so look for candles made with natural ingredients, a clean burning wick such as cotton and made with sustainable resources.

At Fresh Aura, we use premium plant based waxes from coconut, soy and food grade paraffin to assist with stability. That mix is complimented by a full cotton wick vs a lead core wick which can put harmful chemicals in to the air and phthalate free fragrances to reduce irritation. Consider going natural when you buy your next candle and most importantly consider Fresh Aura when deciding where to buy. All candles are crafted right here in my kitchen with sprinkles of love .

I created Fresh Aura out of a love for candles and the need for a creative outlet. My mission is to encourage you to love and care for yourself and promote mental health awareness, a topic not discussed enough.
